MARK ASHBY
Architect AIBC, CPHD

Mark is the voice of reason at Fold and the Architect of Record on our projects.

 

He brings outstanding communication, judgement, and technical expertise to the project team and a talent for understanding and reconciling the complex, and often divergent, needs of stakeholders.

Mark is a member of the AIBC and Certified Passive House Designer with 19 years of architectural practice in British Columbia, Chicago and Toronto.

SONNEN SLOAN
Intern Architect AIBC, CPHD

Sonnen is a function-focused designer who generates custom-tailored solutions to every design problem.​ She constantly questions what is possible and brings an exploratory and curious quality to Fold's process.

Sonnen is a Certified Passive House Designer and an AIBC Intern Architect with 15 years of experience in product design, manufacturing and project management.

JENNIFER KALMAN
Intern Architect AIBC

Jenn is a master of data management, passionate about creative thinking, spreadsheets and people-focused architecture.

 

She enjoys exploring the psychology behind place-making; generating spaces that respond to a human scale and the unspoken psychological needs of occupants. 

Jennifer joins Fold with two years of industry experience and a Master's from Dalhousie. Her attention to detail is evident in her passion for IKEA assembly and her technical management of our Revit library.

TREVOR D'ORAZIO
Intern Architect AIBC

Trevor is a recent architecture graduate passionate about adaptive reuse, place making and community consultation. He sees spaces for their capacity to tell a story and teases out relevant histories that define the context of ‘place:’ present, past, and future.


Trevor brings a talent for modeling, drafting and image creation to the team and offers a diverse viewpoint on place making through his thesis work on generating community oriented
landscapes.
